Meal supplies are brought to the back of the church.
In anticipation of Thanksgiving, parishioners gather all of the ingredients for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. The items are brought to the church the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Volunteers then distribute the dinners to Philadelphia parishes who in turn offer them to families in need. Hundreds of dinners are supplied by St John Neumann parishioners every year!
Meal ingredients: Parishioners are asked to box or bag a frozen turkey, stuffing mix, a bag of potatoes, canned vegetables, gravy, rolls and boxed pies
