Msgr. Michael Matz
Monsignor Matz is thrilled that he has been given the opportunity to return to a place where he had known much joy and encouragement. Having lived here from 1996 to 2007, while working at the local diocesan high school, Father now returns as Pastor. “What a joy to be reunited with old friends and to meet new parishioners. I embrace my role as Pastor, and pray for the openness to respond to God’s guiding grace.” Father Matz has been a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for over thirty-three years and has had various experiences from high school teacher and administrator to pastor. It is Father’s daily prayer that the Holy Spirit show him each day how to be part of God’s purpose for this wonderful community.
