Reverend James McKeaney

Father Jim was ordained in 1969. He arrived at Saint John’s in 2001 after serving in secondary school education at Archbishop Kennedy and Bishop McDevitt High Schools and as Pastor of Saint Gertrude Parish in West Conshohocken, He was named Pastor Emeritus in 2017. 



Sister Carol Kelly, SSJ

Sister Carol came to Saint John’s in 1994, after teaching for 30 years in Catholic Schools in the Philadelphia Archdiocese and in New Jersey.  Her office coordinates and organizes various parish ministries, services and community activities.

Mrs. Joy Falcone


Mrs. Joy Falcone has been on the staff for many years.  She manages the finances for the church and school and is now working on the Life Center Project.



Mrs. Cathie Lamberto


Mrs. Lamberto has served as an educator for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for over 20 years. She served as Assistant Principal at Annunciation B.V.M. School for a total of 13 years before coming to Saint Colman - John Neumann School. .




Reverend Robert Murray, OSA

Father Robert Murray is an Augustinian who assists the parish on Sunday and weekdays. He is former high school teacher and is now a Professor of Psychology at Villanova University. He was ordained in 1983 and resides on campus at St. Thomas Monastery.

Deacon David Schaffer was ordained a permanent deacon in 1986. He has served at St Denis & St. Colman Parishes prior to coming to St. John's. Deacon graduated from Neumann University with at Masters in Pastoral Counseling and has a Masters in Religious Studies from St. Charles Seminary. He is Head of the Evangelization Committee and coordinates the RCIA program.  He is a member of parish and financial councils. Deacon retired from working in the Archdiocese in the Secretariat for
Evangelization. His daughter, Susan, and her family live in Springfield.




Reverend John Deegan, OSA

Father Deegan is an Augustinian who assists the parish on Sundays. He is the Founder of the Augustinian Defenders of the Rights of the Poor, an organization dedicated to serve of the forgotten poor in South Philadelphia.



Reverend Robert J. Chapman


Father Chapman was ordained in 1967. He retired in 2014 as Pastor Emeritus of Saint Margaret Parish in Narberth. He celebrated 50 years of ordination in May 2017.


Monsignor Michael Matz

Monsignor Matz attended Our Lady of Fatima Grade School and Cardinal O’Hara High School.  He entered St. Charles Seminary in September 1976 and was ordained a priest in 1984.  His first two assignments were at St. Francis Parish in Lenni and St. Clement Parish  in Southwest Philadelphia.  He taught at Cardinal O’Hara High School.  After that, he was Director of Activities at Lansdale Catholic High School.  For 12 years, he was President of Archbishop Carroll High School and resided here at St. John Neumann.  In June of 2007,  Cardinal Justin Rigali appointed Monsignor Matz Pastor of Saint Genevieve Parish in Flourtown. Monsignor was assigned to Saint John Neumann in June 2017.
